Cracked Cylinder Head

So I had a cracked head, I pulled it and ordered a complete head from a local shop that specialises in land cruisers. Got the head yesterday. I have managed to swap over everything but i've run into a show stopper. under the 3rd cylinder intake manifold there is a barbed fitting that is blocked off with a cap. On my head it is a press fit and it came out just fine. On the new head it is a threaded hole and from what I can tell it is a M12 1.25 thread pitch tapered hole (I have a m12 1.25 bolt and it starts loose but the thread pitch matches and then it binds down after about 20 mm). My head didn't come with a fitting for that and I have a hole into my water jacket that I can't plug. I have searched the internet for a barbed fitting with those thread dimensions and come up blank. Do I have the right dimensions? What does that hose do? I looked at a picture of an AMC head from roughtrax and they have the threaded barb included. Does anyone know what size of bolt i'm looking for. Does anyone know where I can buy a barbed fitting to fit it? Does anyone know what the heck this blocked off barbed hose is actually for? I can't figure out how to attach photos onto the post, If you know what i'm talking about please help me out. As long as the area where the head gasket is supposed to seal is fine then there should not be a problem. Those replacement engines are a bit of a gamble. Turbos and injectors can be replaced at a later stage without having to pull the engine. My point is simply that if I am at the same stage of the fix and funds allow for it then I rebuild everything.
